Buying a vacant lot in a city has many advantages. Cities have universities, medical centers and museums. Having easy access to water and utilities is always a plus and let’s not forget pavement. Cities provide mostly reliable public transportation and there is almost always something to do, be it at the park, at the Community center, a hole in the wall, the stadium, the arena, the mall or a venue as unique as the city itself. Make no mistake civic pride and community involvement are vibrant throughout America.

The images of owning recreational property may include jumping off a rope swing or diving off a dock into clear cool water. Boating, swimming, fishing and lounging await you just outside your door – just a stroll from your porch. This is a great picture; I can see myself in it. I can see future grandchildren coming to visit. (No hurry son and daughter-in-law, really.) However, this is not the only way to have fun at the lake. I propose a good time can be had by all.
